About your wedding day photography:

Picture
For wedding, I love to shoot " documentary style" - which means, capturing the events as they unfold in an unposed, spontaneous manner. The human element of the day is most important - capturing the spectrum of emotions people experience on this day - from joy not just because of your marriage but because of the enormous energy and unpredictability of brining all your friends and family together to be our witness. Needless to say, a photographer's dream assignment...

BEFORE THE CEREMONY

I'll get you and your fiance getting ready for the ceremony (these are often of the best photos!), getting dressed, getting make-up and hair, all the behind-the-scenes excitement. This includes family, bridesmaids, best man, etc. During this time, I also love to get detail shots such as rings, shoes, dress, etc.

DURING THE CEREMONY

During the ceremony I use special lenses so that no flash is required. It's actually so much more beautiful using just the available light in the church, synagogue or wherever the ceremony is held. I will cover all of the bases so nothing is missed!

AFTER THE CEREMONY

Wherever the location, we'll find some unexpected ways to show your environment. These pictures will be mix of candid and some posed so you get the classic wedding shots of you and yor new spouse and also the wedding party. ( The best time of day for outdoors shots is late afternoon.)

THE RECEPTION

Then of course there are the reception photos. These are fun to shoot with a mix of flash and available light and there is so much revelry to capture: dancing, toasting, the place settings and details of the decorations, cake, etc. These photos are full of life and we will work it for as much time as we have left to get a wonderful photos for you and your family and friends to enjoy.

I think you will love the photos we can do of your very special day!
